Andy Coffield originally performed as a solo artist in the Musical Explosion and at weddings until joining "The Flashbacks" in 1984. Andy, a balladeer, brought a new feature to the group and was a breath of fresh air with his on stage antics.

Andy continued to sing with the group for twelve years collaborating on two of the groups three CDs. He left the group 1996 because his job required him to move to Colorado. Andy's absence left a huge void in the group that was recognized by fans of "The Flashbacks" because of his stage wit, humor, and vocal abilities.

Andy now lives in the East Limestone area and manages his own construction company, Andy-Can
