Preston Grammer
Guitarist

Preston Grammer picked  up a guitar for the first time when he was 11. His friend Joe Mack Crow showed the Hartselle, Al. adolescent a few chords and Preston caught on quickly. Preston and Crow loved the Allman Brothers, who were Prestons inspiration to learn to play. Preston is the newest member of the Flashbacks at a ripe old 26. He performed with Bishop Black before joining the Flashbacks a group that is well known among the southeast college circuit. He has his own style which is unique in a day when most young artist copy or sound similar to someone else. He has been likened to Stevie Ray Vaughn with scathing riffs that add a new dimension to the Flashbacks ensemble. He plays with enthusiasm and a fresh new energy that will surely take him further down the music row. All of the Flashbacks members have expressed great gratitude and  enjoy what he brings to the group. Check out one of the public shows listed on news & dates page and you will see that Preston will not disappoint you.
