Taking on the roll of vocal and musical arranger for the group, original member Tim Lambert was well versed in the musical groups that influenced the sounds of the 60's and 70's, such as the Beach Boys, Manhattan Transfer, and the Temptations. Tim always had an ear for the original arrangements and the imagination to breathe new life into what became "The Flashbacks" style of music. Tim left the group in 1996 in pursuit of other interests. Before leaving Tim recorded two CD's with the group. After leaving, Tim and Stan Leopard formed an a cappella group consisting of four guys and three ladies called N'voice. Tim’s love for intricate harmonies carried over to this new group. Tim and N'voice gained popularity as they continued to book many major events, such as Panoply of the Arts in Huntsville and Musical Explosion in Athens. Tim now works in broadcasting and resides in Athens. N’voice continues to perform like recent event Concerts in the Park at Delano Park in Decatur, AL. |
