Ray Sparks

Ray Sparks is an outstanding vocalist that can be compared to Michael Bolton, Lee Greenwood, or David Ruffin former lead singer of the Temptations. Ray sang solo for years in the Decatur/Moulton area. The addition of Ray to "The Flashbacks" in 1997 drove the popularity of the group to new heights.

After eight years singing with the group Ray left the group to pursue a solo act in 2005. He and his group had many great accomplishments including winning 1^st place band honors at the Moulton C & E Festival in 2006. By winning 1^st place the band had the opportunity to front Dr. Hook featuring Ray Sawyer.

Ray rejoined The Flashbacks in February of 2007 and remained with the group for just over a year. He remains a force in local music scene and only gets better with age.

Ray has his own business, Sparks Roofing, and continues to live in the Moulton area. He has handed down his love of horses to his sons and the family travels all over the south to compete in horse shows.
